How to Create and Lead a Nation in Towny
Short answer: On LivaMC Towny a mayor founds a nation with /n new [name] for 15,000 TL. A nation costs 300 TL a day in upkeep and lets towns team up: it can declare sieges, conquer World Wonders, sign alliances and enter the weekly World Council. Strong nations compete for the monthly Ruler of the Month title. LivaMC Towny is opening soon.

Money on LivaMC Towny is TL, a virtual in-game currency. It is separate from the money on other LivaMC modes and cannot be exchanged for real money.

Allies and enemies
Kings manage relations with /n ally add [nation] and /n enemy add [nation]. Diplomacy, alliances and even betrayal are allowed by the rules. Use the chat channels /us (nation) and /ms (allies) to coordinate.
Power points
A nation's strength is measured in power points, which decide the World Council and the Hall of Fame:

Active means logged in within 7 days; same-IP accounts count once.
Running a nation day to day
- Keep the nation bank funded for the 300 TL daily upkeep; Hagia Sophia (Ayasofya) cuts it by 25% and the Vergi Affı (Tax Amnesty) law removes it for a week.
- Spread towns over 3 or more regions for +10% regional resources.
- Plan sieges for the 20:00 and 22:00 war sessions and walk to the front, since teleporting into an active siege zone is blocked.
- Watch the weekly law: Barış Haftası (Peace Week) stops new sieges.
